PLUS3 CLEAN UP 2021 – NP KORNATI

More than 125 kg of marine debris were collected from Stiznja to Sipnate West part was mainly full of hard plastic, south part was covered with lighter packages, fishing nets, bottles, lids, plastic bags, etc.

We see raising awareness of plastic pollution in the marine environment with the involvement of local community as an important part of the solution to the cleaner seas.

It was lovely to see the energy and the effort of the children playing with plastic debris in our workshop. We are also very thankful for great contribution of sea kayakers volunteered to be part of the event.
