Kornati full of plastics event with presentations “Invisible life of plastic waste” and workshop “Second life of plastic waste”

Increasing amount of plastic waste become a big problem in NP Kornati.

Clean up of island Tovarnjak took place from 16.8.2019-18.8.2019. We collected 145 kg of marine debries. We sorted plastic waste according to it’s typology and 25 kg was used in workshop “Second life of plastic waste” with Maja Rijavec from SmetUmet with following exhibition. Part of the event was a presentation “Efficiency of social influence methods in environmental behaviour regarding waste management” by Katarina Polajnar. Not only invited guests but also random visitors of the park was actively involved in project.
